FinancesI created a budget for our team using past expenses, expected donations, and future plans. As the year progressed, I made notes on what to adjust and record each of our expenses by subsystem. Additionally, I tracked all orders and take inventory as we receive parts.

Competition InvolvementI created a sustainable organizational structure for the team so that we can build off of it for years to come. In previous years, our team was unprepared for our competition regarding team roles, tool organization, and pit stop efficiency. I observed as our lack of preparedness and directly affected our competition success. In preparation for 2018 competitions I worked to clearly communicate team roles, create an efficient system for tool organization, and follow a detailed itinerary.

Project ManagementA group of engineers can accomplish an incredible amount given adequate direction and motivation. As team manager, I worked to promote organization, productivity, and preparedness by observing where we fall short and working to fill in the gaps. As manager, I focused my efforts on refining purchase/reimbursement processes, defining team roles, meeting efficiency, and new member integration.
